Sunday, Cardiff 2016 – Ian Rush offered a warm welcome to the Genero team as they celebrated the inaugural game of their new Executive Club Lounge title sponsorship, at the Cardiff City Stadium.
The sponsorship, throughout the World Cup qualifying matches, will support the Football Association’s corporate hospitality lounge for eight home matches.
Pete Leckie, Managing Director of Genero commented "I’m pleased and proud to support the association with the FAW, and we look forward to witnessing many more great displays of football from the home team".
Recently rebranded Genero’s passion for sport has supported their recent successful partnership bids, with sporting venues including, Rodney Parade, The Principality Stadium, and BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park. The Cardiff based firm’s unique understanding of what makes a match day experience memorable has made them a popular choice with venues and teams alike.
Alex Eagle, Sales and Marketing Executive for the FAW said ‘We welcome the opportunity to have Genero on board, a great Welsh firm to join the FAW family.’
The afternoon’s result was mixed with the away team putting up a surprisingly strong fight against the Welsh side, and but home fans were relieved by the 1-1 draw.
