Event: The Best of Wales Gala Night 2025

On the evening of February 20th, the “Best of Wales” gathered to kick off Wales Week / London.
This annual celebration, dedicated to showcasing the very best of Wales, took place at one of London’s most prestigious locations—right in the heart of Mayfair.
The impressive Intercontinental London, Park Lane provided the perfect setting for an unforgettable night of entertainment, meticulously organized by event specialists Engage.
Liz Williams and her team at Engage partnered with Genero, Wales’s trusted event production company, to deliver a seamless technical setup that enhanced the modern elegance of the ballroom.
Working as an extension of the Engage team, Genero’s experts created a stunning stage set, strategically placed screens, and high-quality lighting and sound equipment—ensuring that over 270 guests had an immersive experience.
Genero’s cutting-edge audio-visual technology elevated the night’s entertainment, featuring performances by Welsh comedian Robin Morgan, the talented vocalists of Welsh of the West End, Q&A panel with Sabrina Fortune MBE and Helen Ward and renowned Welsh sports stars Joe Ledley and Rhys Williams.
The evening ran flawlessly, thanks to the expertise of the teams and state-of-the-art technology. Host Lauren Jenkins guided guests through the night, leading up to an electrifying live set by Welsh DJ, Katie Owen, bringing the celebration to a spectacular close.
