The Event:
The annual British Academy Cymru Awards took place in St David’s Hall on behalf of British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA). Genero have been proud to provide the production for this event for 5 consecutive years.
The Objective:
To provide the audio-visual services for the awards ceremony, creating an environment that embodies the celebratory atmosphere of Wales’ most prestigious film and television awards.

Highlights:
We thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the stars of Welsh film and television at the event, especially with our equipment being used to capture them.
Overview of event:
The British Academy Cymru Awards take place to celebrate excellence in broadcasting and production within film, games and television in Wales. With this in mind, Genero were honoured to provide our event AV production services for the glamorous event.
Genero supplied and installed HD cameras used for the live streaming of the event throughout its duration. This ensured visual access to the event for an extended online audience. We installed the large screen and screen surround and projectors, all adding to the spectacular stage environment necessary for presenting the awards. We managed the vision control, communications and tech support for the length of the event.
