Introducing not one, but TWO dazzling new cars to Cardiff

November of 2018 was the month of another significant event for Genero. We felt privileged to pair up with Sytner BMW in Cardiff, for the launch of the highly anticipated BMW 8 Series and the BMW X5. This is not an unfamiliar event for us, we were proud to contribute to the successful launch of the spectacular BMW M5 last November 2017.

We were delighted to be handed responsibility for the technical production, audio-visual presentation, set construction, lighting, sound, and even the catering! Canapés, prosecco and juices were provided to please all taste buds – much needed at an event which brings such excitement. We ensured all aspects were perfectly in place and suited to the big reveal of, not one, but two of these hugely prestigious cars.

The 8 Series is a combo of racetrack speed and coupé luxury and the X5 is made with even more space and a further heightened ability for off-road driving. Our lighting, sound and visual effects accompanied the big reveal and brought the perfect atmosphere for the introduction of such breath-taking cars.

To give the new BMW models a big ‘croeso’ to Wales, we felt it largely appropriate to host a Q&A with Wales and British Lions rugby star Martyn Williams and former Welsh Rugby Union player Craig Quinnell.

The evening was full of anticipation and excitement, it was a pleasure to contribute to the event’s success.
