Genero Creative Group: Working with FAW for a new defining era for football in Wales

Genero Creative Group are sponsoring the Football Association of Wales to launch the Genero Adran Leagues this September.

This will be a new, defining chapter for the women’s game in Wales with a clear and progressive brand, and one Genero is proud to be a part of.

The league will be made up of a top tier (Adran Premier), a regional second tier (Adran North and Adran South) and a brand new U19s league (Adran North U19s and Adran South U19s). The U19s league has been created with the aim to bridge the gap between youth and senior football and giving clear opportunities for progression within the league.

The decision to remove ‘women’s’ from the league brand makes Adran the first in the UK and third in Europe to do so. Players, fans and members of the media all had their say about the rebranding of the league and helped shape the new look and brand identity which aims to give the women’s game added confidence and visibility The name ‘Adran’ is Welsh for division, in keeping with the league’s strong Welsh identity.

Genero Creative Group is a Cardiff-based events agency who have been providing vibrant, exciting events for nearly 20 years, and have agreed a two-year sponsorship deal with the league. Managing Director Peter Leckie says of the announcement:

“At Genero we are passionate about creating positive change and this is an exciting new chapter for the domestic game in Wales and one we are proud to be a part of.”
